Day 208 - Friday, July 17th

[Ash's alarm is going off at seven, which seems entirely too early to Max, drugs worn off enough to wake with the noise, worn off enough to know the meal he prepared last night is still probably good to go with a quick reheat. There really is no reason to get up so early, is there? Unless he has things to do.

Max can't do things. Why would he know if Ash had things to do?]

[ They were almost finished. ]

...Where the hell is my attention span? M'not even on the really good drugs anymore.

You're on the pretty good drugs.

[ Being rich is nice. ]

[He'll try to continue the process, without the temptation of other tabs.]

[ Ash will occasionally chime in. He'll be a bit picky in terms of which teacher he'd want to help; it should be in science related class if it's going to get his foot in the door. ]

[He'll pull up the professors to look into them and see about sending individual e-mails, then. Max can try throwing his own name around a little.]

Going to tell them I'm the guy banging the big news reporter?

Don't be nosy.

[jadedlynx]

I'm allowed to be nosy if it's about me.

I won't tell them that much.

[jadedlynx]

I didn't really think you would. I'd break your other wrist if I saw it happening.

[papalobo]

[Well, now he's tempted.]

[ It'll be wrist suicide.

But Ash moves back and grabs his book. Max wouldn't really. ]

[Bluff called, despite writing out one, if Ash never moves over to see it, he deletes it, as expected.

Only Max appreciates how funny Max is.]

[ He won't send it; Ash knows that.

The hand did nothing. As expected. Ash isn't really disappointed. Overall, the day has been a better one. They had normal conversation that didn't feel strained.

It would improve as his body did. ]

[What could it do? It wasn't as if Ash wanted anything to come of it, nor as if Max could give anything if he did. And if Ash wanted anything of that nature, he had someone on call to do it better on every level. Oh, sure, yeah, the fact that Max was Max mattered, but they could be Max and Ash without that. They were for years. And they'd have to be for months now anyway. That would cement things.

Once finished with registration, he'll have the details sent to one of Ash's e-mails for his records and curiosity. Acceptance is instant. It'll be a matter of logging into the portal and selecting his classes as he wishes, now. He'll have to request special access to ones with pre-recs he tested out of as those haven't transferred yet, but.]

Day 215, July 24th

[ He'll work on that later, likely when Max napped.

It's a long week. Max's lessons double well as babysitting classes since his men will watch him while Ash focuses on training Sing and Alex. There's a lot of other small things to do. Boring things, things that are more Ash Golzine than Lynx.

Max improves. Ash sees it. It isn't a surprise, but it's still nice to see.

It's a week without Yut Lung answering. He's being a brat, Ash knows, but the next Friday, he grabs a car and gives Sing the wheel. They'll visit. ]

[Sing can drive, at least. His shoulder is well enough there aren't too many things he can't do anymore.]

Wonder if I should bring flowers or chocolates or high end hand bags...

If you're going to ask him out, I'm waiting outside of the door.

Way he's acting, it's like he's mad I ran off with you. Maybe he knows we kissed.

He's acting pretty normal. He's always been pretty pissy.

[babyboss]

Normal would be answering back and demanding apologetic servitude and soothing his ego.

There's a lot less yelling and slapping than usual.

We'll find out when we get there.

[Upon ringing the bell, a servant's voice answers asking who they are. Sing identifies them both by name.]

I'm afraid Young Master Lee has no time to meet with you. Please leave.

Such little time that he told you ahead of time to say that if it's us?

Tell him to open the door.
