Day 328, Friday, November 28th

[It's weird, to end up at a home that's not home. He's spent more time there than anywhere else this year, but that says more about his transience than anything. If told five years ago he would live such a lifestyle, he'd have believed that, but not the part about most of those multiple places being not just six but seven, eight figure abodes.

And yet it's Jessica's home (still probably the nicest one he'd lived in as an adult, before Ash swept in) they're doing Thanksgiving in. Maybe it's a fear of being upstaged on her part if it's in such a house; such a naive thought is, while unvoiced, just more proof of Ash's suspicions, that Max's mind is on something, something Ash had likely been trying to put his mind on for months. Because with even half of his braincells to put to it, he'd suspect the worst sooner.

It's not until they're pulling up to the house and there are two other cars there that he remembers the hell of Thanksgiving is not only family, but family you don't normally have to see. And thanks to Michael, Jessica's family is still his family.


And their ride is a taxi. It's not like they can turn around. Though Michael coming out to greet them right away in a hurried excitement would've made it impossible in anything.]

...Maybe she decided to start investing in cars. But not especially good ones. To be more undercover. As a journalist.

I know. It's a hard life.

[He does his best to look innocent with that pun, a pun starting to poke Ash in the back; for a man whose own body's response became almost if not more in doubt than Ash's, it's a fast rise. Maybe he managed to force it just for that joke.]

[ And when he's with such an uncute partner. Max must really be pushing himself. ]

Is this where I say 'something seems hard'? The timing is almost impressive.

[ Ash rolls his body back against that 'something'.

Once, even after discovering his sex drive, the blonde assumed he'd still be unable to get erect and, yet, that too seems resolved. After a lot of difficulty and false starts. ]

Only almost?

I don't think you can get it hard on command.

[ And after the act downstairs, Max is allowed no grace.

Though they've still barely touched, Ash, too, is finally stirring. Youth is a wonderful gift. ]

You don't get points for luck.

[His hand slows that now that he knows Ash's body is 'online.']

You might get some credit for it too.

[ The need isn't as burning as the desire that overtook him in the bar, but that doesn't diminish the lust that Max's hand inspires. The bar was an exception that Ash was surprised he could manage.

This is nice. The water sprays down on them, his mind is largely in the moment, and Max is big and solid behind him. It's moments like these that his teenage self could never have imagined. ]

If you stop talking about how uncute you find me, I might give you some credit for mine.

[ He lays back slightly, putting some of his weight onto Max's body. ]

Only a little.

You wanna hear the opposite?

[He doesn't wait for an answer, pushing against his back to assure he'll keep him stable as he lies, the hand on his need working a calmer pace as the opposite, stablizing his hold on Ash with a forearm and upper arm holding in place at his sides, rakes slowly up against the water's downpour, along his toned abs and torso.]

'bout how cute you can be when you feel like faking it? That's pretty uncute too, but for people who don't know no better in the moment...

[ Max has rarely been allowed to fully shine in their relationship. So often, Ash took charge in the bedroom and was rewarded with the sight of a lust-intoxicated boyfriend, moaning and begging for release. Some may relate the desire for control to his abusive past, but there's also something basely sensual about a Max overcome with desire.

Yet, in front of Max, with his weight behind him, Ash has little power but the power to say no, a right he has no plan to exercise. The hand feels good, and the slow pace almost lulls him into desire. It both calms him and manages to reach something a little deeper than he expected when the shower began.

Never did he think of sex as something 'relaxing'.

Nor does his body, not in its entirety. Under Max's work, Ash hardens. ]

Nhnn.. I don't really want to be called cute... when having sex.

[ His head falls back onto Max's chest. It's a rare view of relaxed pleasure spreading across Ash's face with closed eyes and parted lips. ]

[He won't kiss him. It's tempting, but there's the banter to consider, even if Ash is melting more into the moment than the lead up. The hand on his midsection reaches for the soap as the other hand continues a calm pace. He could actually get them clean while they're in here.]

Then you better not go and try being cute.

I probably stopped the accidental cute when I learned sarcasm.

[ Lips close to curve into a smile. He won't fake cute here. ]

[Just because he's cleaning up the outside doesn't mean anything for the inside, though. The fact that his release is still inside of Ash strikes him, along with the fact that it wasn't that long ago since he was last lubed and stretched... So, a soapy hand moves a little faster as if trying not to wash Ash with soap so much as to wipe the soap off of his own hands with Ash.]

Still probably more likable than you mean to be.

[ Not even someone raised to be a genius can accurately follow all of Max's logic. Ash has learned to roll with the occasional random word or action. ]

Just my looks.

[ While it may seem like arrogance coming from most, Ash takes no pride in neither his face nor his body. ]

Unless I meet somebody into crazy.

And then there's me.

You're the last group.

[ And Max damn well knows it. ]

You started in the group that's not into me at all.

[ His lips part to add something more but then close just as quickly. There's no need to mention Griff as a prelude to sex. ]

[A hand cleaned now of soap can start teasing along his hip, towards his hole, to feel just how ready he still is.]

Dunno what you mean, I like 'em cute and fun 'n laid back. Then you go dragging me into bar fights....

[ With such recent use, the muscle still feels ready to accept him inside. Feeling his intentions, Ash spreads his legs a little more to make it an easier fit. ]

Nhn. Who dragged you into a fight?

I figure you get some of the credit, making me go to a bar.

[Guiding Ash to lean forward instead of back now, he ceases stroking the front in order to stablize him, to give lift; if the ground is slippery or his knees give out, he'll still be in good shape.]

But if I get sex three times out of it, I'll be ready to go again pretty soon.

[ Max is already prepared as well? Ash knows his body can go quickly after the first round, but Max is old. Ancient.

With his body bending in the middle, the water accents the length of Ash's pale back, one that manages to be both slender and masculine. His hair is completely soaked through now which causes the strands to stick snuggly to the curve of his neck. ]

Don't be assuming a third time already.

[He stops just short when positioning, pausing to try to peer at his face, with an oblivious look even while sneakily taking in the full view, steeling himself to be ready again; he's mostly there, but he also knows Ash will outlast him if he tarries too long.]

You had to spell it out that you were inviting me to the bedroom for sex and then you're gonna take it back?

[ Ash feels the stare, but he's kind enough to keep his eyes closed. This time.

He's ready. Body and mind, Ash is ready to be enveloped by all that is Max and to give himself over as well. If tomorrow shows a return to yesterday, he'll be greedy and take all that tonight has to offer. ]

That was before the shower sex.

[Ah. If he keeps his eyes closed, it's harder to keep up the bit. Bending over him, into and through the stream, slightly pushing the head at his hole, Max goes for the kiss. Doing this, even from behind, without more kissing feels wrong. He wants him. He tightens the arm around his hips and feels himself blocking the hot stream from Ash's body.]

[ Even behind closed eyes, Ash's imagination fills in the blanks caused by darkness. Max leans against him, on the crisp of entering him, and leans in to claim his lips. The kiss is almost connected when he smiles and adds his own quip. ]

Did I get cute?

[papalobo]

[Punk. He clicks his tongue, feeling Ash stop short of letting the kiss connect.]

Just a little.

[ The faintest hint of green shows between dark lashes. ]

Cute enough to kiss?

[papalobo]

[His lips press into a thin, firm line against each other instead of his. His hips inch forward, focusing instead on that but it only makes him want to kiss him more.]
