Day 328, Friday, November 28th

[It's weird, to end up at a home that's not home. He's spent more time there than anywhere else this year, but that says more about his transience than anything. If told five years ago he would live such a lifestyle, he'd have believed that, but not the part about most of those multiple places being not just six but seven, eight figure abodes.

And yet it's Jessica's home (still probably the nicest one he'd lived in as an adult, before Ash swept in) they're doing Thanksgiving in. Maybe it's a fear of being upstaged on her part if it's in such a house; such a naive thought is, while unvoiced, just more proof of Ash's suspicions, that Max's mind is on something, something Ash had likely been trying to put his mind on for months. Because with even half of his braincells to put to it, he'd suspect the worst sooner.

It's not until they're pulling up to the house and there are two other cars there that he remembers the hell of Thanksgiving is not only family, but family you don't normally have to see. And thanks to Michael, Jessica's family is still his family.


And their ride is a taxi. It's not like they can turn around. Though Michael coming out to greet them right away in a hurried excitement would've made it impossible in anything.]

...Maybe she decided to start investing in cars. But not especially good ones. To be more undercover. As a journalist.

Not sure how deep it'll get, but...

[His tongue sticks out, as if to test how far out he can stick it, pushing against the hand to try to bend down.]

I'll really punch you! You used to be straight so stop embarrassing us both!

[ It really seems like only one of them is embarrassed.

The hands push harder. ]

Exactly! If I can eat out a front, I can eat out a back! It's licking a hole! I've done this before!

[He does let himself be pushed back, but if he couldn't give Ash a taste of his own medicine, this isn't a bad alternative.]

[ His face is a unique shade of red that Max has yet to see on this particular face. For that xomment, he gets a kick in the stomach. Not at full force, but Ash is flexible.

It's shameful to be this ashamed. It's not like he's ever experienced it before, but that and this are different. ]

I'll kick you from the car!

[papalobo]

Well excuse me for wanting a snack! Making me do all this work, no drinks, not taking me to dinner!

[Max is doing his little Max-ish best to continue to seem angry, but at that kick to the stomach, he can't hold back the laughter anymore, reaching to muse Ash's hair, smeaing it with yet more lubricant.]

Max!

[ Now his body moves to force Max back into his seat. His hair doesn't need the lubrication! ]

I'm only going to make so many threats before following through with them!

[ But Max isn't an easy person to move. ]

Which ones, again?

[Admittedly, he's already starting to react again. He'll go back to his seat, but.]

All of them. Buckle your seatbelt. If we get pulled over, I'll...

[ Ash sighs. ]

I can't even threaten you with jail. You probably miss some of the guys on the inside.

Did meet the love of my life there.

[Just give him a minute to squirm back into his pants.]

[jadedlynx]

[ Groaning, Ash slides into the seat as far as the buckle will allow. ]

Finished yet?

[ Being embarrassing.]

[papalobo]

Guess I gotta be, since the Old Lady won't lemme have dessert.

[jadedlynx]

[ The 'hmph' is almost audible as Ash, clothes now fixed, turns his head to stare out the window. He doesn't care about the things outside, but it's the direction that's away from Max. ]

[papalobo]

[But he is reaching back into the pouch on the back of Ash's seat again.]

[jadedlynx]

[ His eyes turn to the side. It's annoying, but Ash can't ignore that. ]

What are you doing?

[papalobo]

[He pulls out a pack of tissues, holding them up innocently before opening it to wipe at his hands.]

[jadedlynx]

Any wipes?

[ Ash reaches for the tissues, too, but something wet would do better toward getting him clean. ]

[papalobo]

Nah. They'd be dried by now anyway.

[Once done, he buckles in, giving a longing look to Ash's waistline. He wants more.

What lead to the sudden spurt of lust, anyway? If someone didn't spike the kid's drink. If they did, he wouldn't have calmed down after only one round.]

[jadedlynx]

You can restock after cleaning the car.

[ Ash doesn't intend to have a lot of sex in the car, but he can't deny the possibility. ]

The wipes are better.

[papalobo]

Yes, Your Highness.

[jadedlynx]

[ He has to regain some of his dignity. Max did well at knocking it down. ]

If you're going to make a mess, you can't complain too much.

[papalobo]

Some of it's your mess, too. Some of us're willing to clean it up more thoroughly than you, though.

[jadedlynx]

[ Max is nagging at him. It's an improvement, and in the quiet of the car with nothing but the lights of other cars moving around them, he remembers the shock of seeing Max react with anger. Anger on his behalf, anger Ash would've only felt as annoyance.

It's to be expected.

It's to be punished.

The difference in opinions is stark, and while it's a pain to handle the aftermath, Ash didn't realize how much he'd miss the irrational mind when it's on display for his sake. How selfish has he become? ]

I gave you a spot so you could keep yourself clean and got messier for it. You didn't return the favor.

If you want me to clean that spot when we get home, offer's still good.

Since when did you get into that?

[ Max has embraced almost every part of being with another man so Ash isn't surprised; the only thing he hasn't done is play the switch, and not every gay man likes both positions. Still, they've never broached the topic before. ]
