[It's weird, to end up at a home that's not home. He's spent more time there than anywhere else this year, but that says more about his transience than anything. If told five years ago he would live such a lifestyle, he'd have believed that, but not the part about most of those multiple places being not just six but seven, eight figure abodes.

And yet it's Jessica's home (still probably the nicest one he'd lived in as an adult, before Ash swept in) they're doing Thanksgiving in. Maybe it's a fear of being upstaged on her part if it's in such a house; such a naive thought is, while unvoiced, just more proof of Ash's suspicions, that Max's mind is on something, something Ash had likely been trying to put his mind on for months. Because with even half of his braincells to put to it, he'd suspect the worst sooner.

It's not until they're pulling up to the house and there are two other cars there that he remembers the hell of Thanksgiving is not only family, but family you don't normally have to see. And thanks to Michael, Jessica's family is still his family.


And their ride is a taxi. It's not like they can turn around. Though Michael coming out to greet them right away in a hurried excitement would've made it impossible in anything.]

...Maybe she decided to start investing in cars. But not especially good ones. To be more undercover. As a journalist.

[ As if the two are engaging in a well-planned dance, Ash slides into his lap without hesitation; it was always the plan.

His weight rests heavily on Max's legs, but Ash doesn't hesitate to lean more into his body. All consideration of limitations and injuries is gone.

A year prior, Ash wouldn't have made out in the bathroom of a bar. Last night, he'd have said there's no one who can't wait to be kissed, but now, he treats their kiss as oxygen: precious and necessary.

Despite his erection being present between them, he has no plans on having sex here and now, but he's already planning a place to park to finish what they start here. ]

[A heavy, thick hand settles right over that erection, confirming it, kneading it, all but gloating in it while their chests rub together, breaths mingling along with lips and tongues. The opposite hand runs through Ash's hair, cupping his face and then running to the back of his neck, a flurry of motion not sure how far to go when both of them know that this isn't the place for penetration; and yet, neither wants to stop to move, either.]

[ The kiss breaks when Max's hand rubs along the erection, earning a moan muted only by necessity but even while quiet, the sound is shameless and wanton. ]

Damn it, Max.

[ The three words sound like complaint only for their lack of followup.

The solution is simple. ]

Car.

[ They need to relocate. ]

Little more... [The frustration in his voice mirrors that complaint, but not enough to break off just yet. The hand over his groin kneads, grips, then rubs as he pants into the kiss, breaking and reconnecting, shifting on the less than comfortable toilet seat, not feeling any of it but Ash himself, and too taken with that to appreciate the benefits of any change of venue.]

The problem is that I want a lot more.

[ Despite being overcome with lust, Ash still manages full sentences. His body rolls into the hand, encouraging Max while simultaneously trying to pause their situation. ]

We can't do it here, but you have a big back seat.

Could do a little more here...

[Ash is responding to his hand after all, a hand that starts teasing at his fly. Who knows how long Ash's be responsive?]

I don't want to walk out of the bar with stains inside of my jeans.

[ He can certainly finish here.

With a grin, he covers Max's hand, leans forward, and uses his teeth to tug at Max's earlobe. ]

Let's so somewhere you can stain me up instead.

[papalobo]

[That does get his hand to stop, but he's not quite ready to get up just yet.]

I don't want them looking at you already...

I don't care about them.

[ Aside from the barriers they pose. ]

I really, really don't care about them. Let them look. You're the one who's going to be seeing me naked.

[papalobo]

You're really gonna get naked in the car?

[He is starting to sell him on it; Max's eyes rake him over. He won't get him naked here.

Without waiting for an answer, he scoops Ash up, ready to try lifting him as he stands.]

[ Naked enough; his goal won't be full nudity, but...

But then his focus is trying to get his feet onto the ground. ]

I might not care about them, but I'm not going to let them see me carried out.

[papalobo]

[He lets Ash stand, stepping back and finally trying to take a calming breath. Ash probably doesn't actually want to get felt up in front of them, either, not any more than he wants to be carried.]

I get it, I get it...

[ In his usual state, Ash would keep appearances by cleaning up Max's face, but his mind is in other places, and no one died for a bloody face.

It's hard not to grab that hand and drag him away. Instead, he turns, wordless, and leads by action. His pace is just below a point of looking suspicious. ]

[Max is of half a mind to do the grabbing and dragging himself. But if this was spurred by a sense of Ash's dignity, then it won't do to make too much of a show out there. People will notice the blood. He only now thinks to wipe it with his forearm.

Ahhhh, people're gonna know, he can't not follow Ash with open, giddy lust in his step. But he tried, for the record.]

[ You like the attention. You like it when we fight over you, huh? It isn't an unusual accusation, another way for weak men to place the blame on a third, uninterested part. It's never been true in the past, and it isn't true tonight. It isn't the fighting that makes Ash realize what he missed during puberty but a real, true glimpse of a man that had been missing.

None of the onlookers in the bar know there's a secondary reason the two men leave the bar with a speed they normally only see when someone is trying to skip their bill. Huh. Maybe the blonde was into it, after all.

There are other bars. Let little minds come to little conclusions. Ash has a Max to have sex with.

He's still wordless when they make it to the car and he settles into the passenger seat.]

[What a coincidence! Max is also going for the passenger seat! From the driver's side, locking the doors once he's in, tossing the keys onto the dash and then moving right over Ash to continue what they started, still quite public for anyone who happens to merely be outside.]

Wait!

[ Despite himself, Ash laughs as he pushes Max back. It's so much like his old self that his mood is too high to be easily annoyed. ]

Keep it in your pants long enough to drive us someplace quieter. I want you, not half the street.

[papalobo]

It's LA, nowhere's quiet.

[He doesn't keep going but he seems to stop as if thinking that argument might actually work, maybe.]

There's someplace quieter than the front of an L.A. bar. You know I'm a shy kind of guy so don't argue and find an emptier parking spot.

[papalobo]

[What if he just tries to steal a little bit of a wet, deep kiss since he's here, though? His hands aren't going for him, he's being good. Just a little...]

[jadedlynx]

[ Just a little kissing. Just a little. The problem is that it delays the hands that should be going for him. Ash wants those hands on him. ]

[Max's tongue slides along Ash's own, simmering in the heat and the moist feel of that skilled muscle, the scent of his body, the feel of soft blonde hair near his face, the way their breathing is now familiar enough to synch up and...


Alright, alright, alright. Max finally draws back, with a clenched jaw and a visible shiver running from his neck right on down to his hips, landing back in the driver's seat with a little thrust and shift as he starts up the vehicle.

He still had a sex drive here in SF, so the house, and the car, are in fact stocked with hidden lubricant. It's going to be a good time. There's no need to rush or settle. He prepared for this one year ago.]

[ As a fellow man, Max may realize why Ash has to shift in his seat as the car starts. Belated, he buckles in; if they get pulled over, his mood at the interruption won't make for a pleasant conversation.

This isn't a problem he's had often, and Ash can't claim to enjoy it though that perspective will shift once they're alone. ]

Wanna just drive into the nearest woods?

[Where IS the nearest empty parkable place, really?]

[ Ash only needs privacy. Beyond that, he doesn't pretend to be classy. ]
